About Helen Spicer

Qualified Counsellor | Professional Supervisor | Telehealth & In-Person Support

I am a qualified counsellor and professional supervisor registered with the Australian Counselling Association. offering in-person counselling in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, and provide flexible online support via Telehealth to individuals and professionals across Australia.

I have a strong background in supporting people through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and the many life transitions we all encounter. Whether you’re facing a major change, navigating personal challenges, or simply needing space to reflect and regroup, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I understand that cost and timing can be barriers to accessing support, but I also believe in the value of early action, reaching out sooner can make a lasting difference to your wellbeing.

Over the years, I’ve felt privileged to be invited into people’s lives during times of struggle, growth, and transformation. My approach is grounded in compassion and curiosity, helping clients explore ways to enhance their wellbeing and move forward with confidence.

In addition to counselling, I am trained in clinical and professional supervision, offering reflective space for both individual practitioners and groups. Supervision is an opportunity to deepen practice, build insight, and support sustainability in often challenging roles.

If you’re looking for a supportive, experienced counsellor or supervisor, either in person or online, I’d be honoured to work with you.

Client Testimonials

“What can I say? My trauma counselling with Helen truly changed my life. It was challenging, but Helen knew how to progress at a pace I could manage while still moving forward. In just a matter of months, years of anxiety, depression, and mental health struggles were largely resolved, and I now have tools to handle any small niggles that arise. I can’t fully express how life-changing it has been or how deeply grateful I am. Thank you, Helen!”

“I needed someone to listen and validate my feelings. That I wasn't going crazy and that's exactly what I got.”

“I've had such a positive experience with Your Path Counselling – I truly can't recommend them highly enough. The support, insight and guidance I've received has made a real difference, and I’ll definitely continue working with them. I've already recommended their services to a coworker who was going through a tough time, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.”

“At the start of my counselling experience. My counsellor made me feel at peace mentally in the moment.”
